Nobody Nobody nobody, it’s ok not be ok

A show by Daniele Ninarello

Age group: 14+

Starting with an autobiographical experience of bullying, the choreographer explores his vulnerability and the marks that the culture of violence and offense have left on him. The aim is to connect the intimate space of body experience with the public space, addressing issues such as marginalization, denial, isolation, anger, offense and violence. These practices focus primarily on the desire to release the tension that has been curbed over time, a tension that consists of gestures that have forced the body into a posture of control, defense and fear, in order to release it through a dance that gives voice to the parts of us that publicly hide behind shame and judgment, which are feelings that are considered out of the norm. Replacing rigid postures with new free and authentic forms, the performer offers his own vulnerability as a condition through which he can let his own revolution begin, in an empathic dialogue with other people that becomes a symbol of a new way of conceiving Care.
