Theatre and collective writing workshop led by Virginia Landi and Tatjana Motta
A theater and collective writing workshop for secondary school students, conceived and led by director Virginia Landi and playwright Tatjana Motta, which falls within the scope of emotional education.
Starting from the literary topoi of courtly love, of which Tristan and Isolde is the most famous example, through theatrical play, participants will be invited to investigate both the way in which today they experience emotional relationships, such as love and friendship, and the way in which literature influences or inspires us.
What are the cultural stereotypes that influence our present and our emotional imagination? What makes love subversive? Is possessing synonymous with loving? These are some of the questions that will form the starting point of the work, which will then expand thanks to the suggestions of the girls and boys.
The project is aimed in particular at classes that have already studied, or will study during the school year, chivalric novels and the theme of courtly love, so that the experience can serve as a further exploration, from a theatrical point of view, of themes and forms already encountered in their studies. At the end of the workshop, which consists of ten sessions, there will be a performance.
