Workshop of research and creation led by Tolja Djokovic
The workshop is based on Tolja Djokovic‘s text Lucia camminava sola (Lucia walked alone) and offers high school students a creative and educational journey led by the author, combining theater, philosophy, science, and creative writing. The project begins with a meeting with the artist and a viewing of the play, designed as a trigger: students come into direct contact with the atmosphere and themes of the work and with the author’s poetics and theatrical research.
These two starting points trigger a workshop of active exploration, investigative practices, and performative experiences to read bodies, objects, and spaces, collecting visual and auditory clues and then transforming them into creative works. The students will be guided in the creation of artistic material starting from the study of anatomy. At each meeting, they will receive new instructions to deepen their perspective and experiment with performative writing practices.
Squisite Anatomie is conceived as a creative workshop in which our ways of looking at the world and things are analyzed, dismantled, and reassembled with care and imagination. In this workshop, anatomy is not only the dissection and exploration of the body or the self, but an invitation to put reality under the magnifying glass in order to grasp its hidden complexity.
Squisite Anatomie suggests a careful, sensitive gaze, capable of capturing beauty in nuances, the poetic exercise of seeing meaning in what is incomplete, contradictory, fragile.
The workshop includes active visits to some museums in the area (Palazzo Poggi Museum; ‘Luigi Cattaneo’ Anatomical Wax Collection of the University of Bologna; the Archiginnasio Anatomical Theater).
